SEVEN-OUT Excuses
The is a list of common excuses, usually made by superstitious players, when a SEVEN-OUTrolls. Remember, the 7 is supposed to roll one out of every six times onaverage.
- Bad dice
- Cold dice
- New dice
- Worn-out dice
- Dice bounced off the table
- One or both dice landed on the rail
- Dice hit a stack of checques (chips)
- Dice did not roll the full length of the table
- Dice landed in the House Bank
- Dice hit the stick
- Die landed in the Stickman’s bowl
- Die landed on top of a stack of cheques
- Dice bounced off a player
- Dice landed on cash money
- One die landed on top of the other
- Dice bounced off a dealer
- Dice slipped out of hands of the Shooter
- Cocked dice against a checque
- Cocked dice against a wall
- Weak Roll
- Stickman accidentally sends out dice to shooter on a SEVEN
- Bad shooter
- You don’t like the shooter
- Shooter is betting on The DON’T
- New Stickman
- New Dealer
- Somebody uttered that word, “SEVEN”
- Somebody you know came up to the table and said, “How’s it going?”
- A new player walks up to the table and places a large bet in the middle of a roll.
- Cold table
- Bad table
- You just placed all the Point numbers
- You just got up on all the Numbers through the Come Line
- Table action slowed because the house had to count the bank for shift change
- Your wife or significant other just came up and said, “How’s it going Honey?”.
Common statements made by players when a seven-out is rolled:

- “F _ _ _”
- “G _ _ Damnit!
- “It happens EVERY time”
